Montessori Academy is a licensed home childcare for children preschool age group 2.5 - 6 years old. We accept children of all race, religion, ethnicity and background. We are open for enrollment all year round on a space available basis.

My son absolutely loves this school!!! He comes home very happy and feels so comfortable with all the teachers there. Ms. Warinda truly cares about the kids and fosters a nurturing & loving environment for them. All the assisting teachers are also wonderful! The learning curriculum is well thought out and very educational. The kids learn fun songs and are exposed to multi-cultural diversities. I would strongly encourage anyone to send their kids here!

Why choosing Montessori Academy, a home licensed childcare?
We offer a small group with more space for a safer environment. A teacher graduated her BA from Australia and earned a Montessori Diploma in Washington. We also have a structured curriculum so your child will be ready for kindergarten and we offer a Spanish class every Wednesday afternoon.

Sensorial
activities that help develop the five senses: seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling.
Practical Life
Purposeful activities, develops motor control and coordination, and develops independence, concentration, and a sense of responsibility. The exercises in practical life cover two main areas of development: care of self, and care of the environment.
Language
Children use language materials to explore letters, sounds, handwriting, and eventually spelling and writing.
Math
The development of concepts such as numeration, place value, fractions, and the basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using numbers up to 9999.
Geography
It creates the foundation for understanding the oneness of the human family, recognizing the basic needs that all people share while appreciating the diversity of how different cultures satisfy those same needs.
Science
Preparing children for lifetime discoveries. Topics range from how the world began to the basic principles of astronomy, botany, chemistry, physics, and zoology.
Music
Children will learn to listen, hear, move, sing, and produce music.
